Before joining Bohm Law Group and The Law Offices of V. James DeSimone, Emily clerked for the Honorable Karen L. Stevenson, the Honorable Margaret A. Nagle (ret.), and the Honorable Suzanne Segal (ret.) with the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Emily also worked for three years as a Legislative Attorney for the Congressional Research Service in Washington DC, where she advised Members of Congress and their staff on a wide range of legal issues, including aspects of international trade law, administrative and constitutional law, and civil and criminal procedure. Emily graduated magna cum laude and in the top 5% of her class from Boston College Law School in 2009. Her Note on alternative education programs was published in the 2008-2009 issue of the Boston College Law Review. Emily is an unrelenting advocate for clients in civil rights lawsuits and employment discrimination cases. Emily is admitted to practice law in Virginia and California.
