Melika Amini graduated from Master of Laws (L.L.M) at Southwestern Law School in May of 2016, and earned her first law degree from Kingston University in the United Kingdom. Ms. Amini attended Kingston University for her undergraduate degree where she obtained a BSc in Biomedical Science with honors. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Amini was a human rights’ activist where she fought for human rights of others. This experience motivated her to pursue her career in law to continue to protect the civil and constitutional rights of others.
While in law school, Ms. Amini worked in the Legal Advice Center, where amongst other things, she provided legal services as well as advocating on behalf of low-income clients.
Ms. Amini joined V. James DeSimone Law in 2016. At V. James DeSimone Law, Ms. Amini has supported litigation preparation and has assisted in all stages of trial preparations. Ms. Amini has participated in five trials with V. James DeSimone providing detailed daily case summaries, briefing cutting edge legal issues and providing crucial insights. Ms. Amini performs an excellent job on managing the firm’s front office operations, including the client intake experience and quality initiatives.
Ms. Amini is fluent in Farsi. Ms. Amini is extremely knowledgeable and passionate advocate for employees’ civil rights. Ms. Amini’s goal is to continue this path, but as a fully qualified attorney. In 2019, Ms. Amini started her Law Office Study Program, under the supervision of V. James DeSimone, to pursue her further legal education and becomes a qualified attorney. Ms. Amini’s commitment to justice is instrumental in V. James DeSimone Law in achieving justice on behalf of our clients.
