Mariah Taylor was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon. Mariah then moved to Los Angeles, where she attended and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California. Mariah is currently a rising 3L at Loyola Law School, where she is the Managing Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review and spent the year as a clinical student for Loyola Project for the Innocent. During her time in law school, Mariah has also done research on sheriff deputy gangs in Los Angeles and voter redistricting. Mariah has already proved to be a tremendous asset to our civil rights team, meeting with and preparing claims for numerous individuals who were badly injured by police excessive force in the 2025 Ice Protests.
